There is a constellation of stars in the sky that form a crown. They are known as the Corona Borealis or Northern Crown. In Classical mythology it is said that this Star Constellation was set in the sky by the Cretan princess Ariadne after it was gifted to her by the God Dionysus.
This wonderful rare vintage Crown Intaglio was found in Europe and was made in the glass forging area of Bohemia last century.
